Mark Mackey

Sheppard Campus Pastor

Mark Mackey has served as the Sheppard Campus Pastor at FBCWF since July 2020, where he leads with a heart for discipleship and a passion for connecting with the military community at Sheppard Air Force Base. Mark grew up in a Christ-centered home and came to faith at the age of seven, realizing that a personal relationship with Jesus was the missing piece in his life. He felt called to ministry during his freshman year of college and began serving as a bivocational youth pastor in his home church during his junior year. After graduating from Oklahoma Baptist University in 2003, Mark spent 7.5 years as a student pastor in Burkburnett, Texas, followed by 9.5 years of ministry in Choctaw, Oklahoma, before joining FBCWF. His life verses—John 3:30 and 1 Corinthians 10:31—serve as daily reminders to point others to Jesus and glorify God in all things. Mark has been joyfully married to his wife, Shannon, since May 28, 2005. Shannon, a licensed professional counselor, serves through the Region 9 Educational Center. Together, they are proud parents to three daughters: Adeline Joy, Allison Noel, and Elizabeth Lakyn. As a family, they live by the motto: “a little bit of crazy, a little bit of loud, and a whole lot of love.” Outside of ministry, Mark enjoys spending time with family, fishing, reading, watching movies, drinking coffee, and playing basketball. What he loves most about serving at FBCWF is the opportunity to make disciples and equip others to do the same, all while serving alongside a faithful and passionate team.
