Shari Godo

Director of Preschool and Children's Ministries at the West Campus

Shari Godo has been attending FBCWF for over 11 years and joined the staff in March 2016 as the Preschool & Children's Director at the West Campus. Her heart for children’s ministry began early—she has been serving in preschool and kids' ministry in some form for as long as she can remember. Shari finds deep joy in watching children light up as they discover the stories of Jesus and takes great delight in planting and watering seeds of faith in their young hearts. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Midwestern State University. Her favorite verses—Ephesians 6:10, Colossians 3:23, and Ephesians 3:20—remind her to keep God at the center of everything, trusting that He will bless it immeasurably. Shari has been married to her husband, John, since the early 2000s, and together they have four children: twin boys John and Taylor, graduating from Wichita Christian School in 2025, and daughters Sidney and Tessa, who also attend WCS. Both Shari and John were raised in Wichita Falls, where their extended families still live. Outside of ministry, she enjoys spending time with family and traveling to support her kids in their many activities. What she loves most about FBCWF is the sense of family among the staff and the way every ministry honors God.
