Steven Patterson

Student Pastor

Steven Patterson has served as Student Pastor at FBCWF since 2022, bringing a deep passion for discipleship and life transformation among students. After coming to Christ through his youth group, Steven attended his first Beach Camp with FBC at age 17, where he clearly sensed God’s call to full-time ministry. He holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from Hardin-Simmons University, a master’s degree from Liberty University, and is working on a doctorate from Southeastern Seminary. His life verse, Colossians 1:28–29, shapes his ministry and fuels his desire to proclaim Christ and help others mature in their faith through God’s strength. Steven has been married to his wife, Rachel, since 2003. They have three daughters—Ellie (17), Abbie (13), and Grace (9)—who keep life joyful and full. Outside of ministry, Steven enjoys fishing, golf, and perfecting his BBQ skills. What he loves most about FBCWF is seeing lives transformed by the gospel and being part of a unified, Christ-centered staff team working together for God’s glory.
