Junior High Special Activities

Throughout the year FBSM will host special events. These events include Weekend Retreats, Disciple Now, Summer Camp, and Mission Trip. Check out Upcoming Events to find out when and where these events take place!

Super Summer Leadership Camp

June 7-11, 2010, we will head to East Texas Baptist University to Super Summer.

Super Summer is not for everyone. This is truly a leadership camp.  It is intense, and will call students to a deeper level in their understanding of God.  Students will be required to fill out the Super Summer Packet, which includes a questionnaire about their spiritual life, as well as schedule an interview with Zack or Justin in the Student Ministry Offices.  This is also important: ALL students attending Super Summer must attend youth camp, June 21-25, 2010.  We pour into the student leaders through Super Summer so that they spark revival throughout the rest of the group.  If cost is an issue, scholarship help is available to youth camp.

Junior High Retreat

Every October join us as we head out to Camp Chaparral for a weekend getaway.

Weekend 67

A special all-nighter just for 7th graders.  Come get acquainted to the Student Ministry will inflatables games, videos, live music, and more! In September!

RIOT Nights

Join us for a Real, Intense, Outrageous, Time of fun! It's a night of Open Gym activities that's a good time for all!

Dinner for 10

Throughout the semester Amber and Justin invite 10 students over to their house for dinner with the staff. Be sure and look to register for the next Dinner for 10.

Disciple Now

Join us and over 400 students as we celebrate Disciple Now each year in February!!!  It will be an incredible weekend you won't want to miss!!!  So... gather your sleeping bag, your best friend, and get ready for Disciple Now!
