First Baptist Church offers an incredible music program for both Youth Singers and Instrumentalists!   

Open Door

Wednesday from 6:00 to 6:50 pm
Youth Building, 2nd floor

Whether you're a guitarist, drummer, vocalist, or just like to sing worship music with the radio, Open Door is for you! Led by our Contemporary Worship Leader, Ben Moore, Open Door is for students in 7th - 12th grades who are interested in developing their musical gifts for worship. Open Door is a Biblical outlook into what worship is and how we can practically put to use what the Bible tells us about worship. Please contact Ben Moore at 723-2764 or ben@fbcwf.org

Student Orchestra

Wednesday at 5:30 to 6:15pm
Orchestra Pit, New Worship Center

Student Orchestra is open to students in grades 7 through 12 who are currently enrolled in a school band or orchestra (or are taking private lessons).  We are looking for dedicated players of every type: strings, woodwinds, brass and percussion.  No audition is required, there is no cost to join or participate and membership at First Baptist Church is not required.  The group performs throughout the year at numerous church functions, worship services, and in venues in and around Wichita Falls.  They attend several concerts during the year in Dallas, Fort Worth or Oklahoma City.   For more information contact the Music Office at (940)723-2764.


 

How To Join

1. Call the Music Office and let us know of your interest and we'll be ready for you.
2. Simply show up a few minutes early at any of the scheduled rehearsal times.
