Welcome to First Baptist Church - Wichita Falls, TX

About The Music Academy

The Music Academy of First Baptist Church has a faculty of Christian instructors, qualified and competent in their individual areas of expertise.  As a branch of the Music and Worship Ministry, the Music Academy provides an environment where Christ is honored and students are challenged to develop their God-given talents for the glory and service of God.  We strive to provide excellence in training in music, and a Christian atmosphere that nurtures the development of talents in children, youth and adults.  Lessons in piano, voice, guitar, Suzuki strings, violin, viola and Kindermusik are currently offered; instruction on other instruments may be available upon request.

All inquiries about the Music Academy should be directed to the Music Office, 940-723-2764, or send us an email at fbcmusic@fbcwf.org

Location

All lessons will be taught on the campus of First Baptist Church in secure areas.  Church policy mandates that parents of students under the age of 18 are required to be present at each lesson and either sit in the classroom or just outside the door.  Children are never to be left alone to wait for their ride or allowed to wander the campus without supervision.  Some teachers require that a parent attend the lesson with his or her child.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but these policies are in place to protect children and instructors alike.
