FINANCIAL PEACE UNIVERSITY is a 13-week program designed to ease the stress that money can have on us.

BENEFITS OF THE PROGRAM:  The average family who goes through this course reduces their debt by $5,300 and saves $2,700 during the 13 week period.  Financial Stress begins to dissipate throughout the program and the burden of debt is lifted off your shoulders.

COST:  $90 per kit  (Couple will share a kit) attendance is expected at each class unless unpreventable.
 
Fall session will begin Wednesday, August 25 - Wednesday, November 17th at 6:00 pm in room 236.

Divorce Recovery
Divorce Recovery Divorce Recovery is a series of support groups and seminars conducted by people who understand the experience of divorce. Most importantly, you'll learn how to deal with the pain of divorce and how to move forward in rebuilding your life.

Cost: $15, which includes your workbook. Free child-care is available upon registration.

Intercessory Prayer Team
Intercessory Prayer Team
You can be the link between God's inexhaustible resources and people's needs by being a part of the team here at First.  An intercessor is a go-between or someone who stands in the gap between the need and the satisfaction of that need by praying.  Spend one hour, per week for one year or rotate with a partner as you pray for people and God's work both here and around the world.  Groups of up to four may also pray together or rotate their hour with one another. For more information please contact Howard Chapman at 723.2764 ext. 252.  There are still spots open to join our Intercessory Prayer Team!
Nearlywed/Newlywed Class
Nearlywed/Newlywed Class

Our Nearlywed/Newlywed Class is exciting and informative!  Class is taught by Robb & Tabitha Havens. You'll feel at ease learning about yourself and your fiancé/spouse. Class sessions include: God's Design for Marriage, Till Debt Do Us Part, How to Have a Good Fight, Love Languages and How to Affair Proof Your Marriage.  Notebooks and outlines are provided. Class is FREE and offered twice per year - Fall and Winter/Spring. 

Fall Session will begin Sunday,  September 12 - November 28, 2010.
