The Young Married Adults ministry provides opportunities for you to grow closer in your relationship with God, your mate and your family. By providing Biblical guidance and a genuine caring environment, young couples are encouraged as they learn to apply God's Word to the many challenges facing married couples today. There are few things in life more challenging than developing a great marriage and/or raising terrific kids. The Young Married Adult ministry seeks to encourage, support and equip young married couples in these important areas of life. We attempt to build an environment where couples can develop relationships with other young couples, deepen their commitments to their marriages and grow in their relationships with God. In addition to age-graded L.I.F.E. Groups, FBC also offers a number of specialized classes focusing on such topics as parenting, leadership, finances, evangelism, prayer and more. We also offer times of fellowship and fun at picnics, class parties and other special events. So, whether you are newly married or have been married for years, we want to come alongside you to provide encouragement and help you experience the great things God has planned for you. The cornerstone of the Adult Ministry is our L.I.F.E.groups (Bible study departments and classes), which are divided by age and life stage to better help meet the needs of each phase of life. The classes provide opportunities for Bible study, ministry involvement, mission projects, fellowships and social events.L.I.F.E. groups meet on Sunday mornings at 8:00, 9:15 and 10:50. Adult Married Bible study classes offer opportunities for leading small group studies, care group leaders, greeting guests, maintaining class records, planning socials, organizing mission projects and more. For more information, visit with the director of your department or your teacher.
Men are encouraged to get involved in Barnabas Groups (weekday), which are small groups designed for Bible study, accountability and prayer. Men's Steak and Praise is a regular event which includes a delicious steak dinner, worship, fellowship, fun door prizes and guest speakers to motivate and encourage men.
