Encouragement for Mothers Who Teach
The First Baptist Church Library is a place of encouragement for mothers who teach their children at home. The library has one of the best collections of resources for homeschooling parents in this area. Nancy Uriniak, church librarian, is an experienced homeschool mom and is happy to answer your questions and direct you to the right resource for your need. The children’s collection has a wonderful selection of “living books” for the homeschooled child, many of which are recommended in some of the best homeschooling curriculum guides such as Five in a Row, Sonlight, TruthQuest and My Father’s World. All homeschooling families in this area are invited to use the First Baptist Church Library. Please come by the library and check us out!

Summer Reading Club for Moms!
Don't let your children have all the fun! Pick up a reading log for yourself. The FBC Library has everything from Christian chick-lit to suspense-filled thrillers, inspiring biographies and wonderful "how to" books on Christian living, parenting, decorating and cooking!
Take a book with you to the pool, the lake, or your own backyard. Prop up your feet and travel to another time or place as you enjoy a romance, solve a mystery or be inspired to make a difference.
Summer plus a great book equals pure enjoyment! And moms get prizes too. Come by the library and check us out!
