The cornerstone of the Senior Adult Ministry is the Sunday morning L.I.F.E. group. We believe these opportunities best take place with a group of friends. L.I.F.E. Groups exist to connect people to Christ through purposeful interaction with each other and involvement in ministry. The classes provide opportunities for Bible study, ministry involvement, mission projects, fellowships and social events. Come and visit a class this Sunday - we look forward to meeting you!

L.I.F.E. Groups meet at 8:00 a.m., 9:15 a.m., and 10:50 a.m.

The Word of Truth

Our weekly televised Bible study features Howard and Dorcas Chapman along with Bible teacher Rod Payne. This thirty minute program provieds in-home Bible study for not only our Home Bound members, but for people all over this area. The program may be seen Sundays at 10:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on CFNT channel 30, cable channel 10.

GriefShare Support Group

GriefShare is a support group for people grieving the loss of someone close. We want to offer you comfort and encouragement during this difficult time. Each GriefShare session includes a video seminar and group discussion. A GriefShare workbook assists you with note taking, journaling and grief study. This class is offered in the Fall and Winter/Spring.

Fall Semester: Sunday, August 29 - November 28 in room 356 @ 4:30pm.

Transportation

We have two vans that run each Sunday to pick up at a number of locations. Call our Senior Adult Ministry Office at 723-2764 ext 253 to determine pickup times and locations. Both drivers and riders alike agree this is a great way to join us for Sunday mornings here at First.
